Peak
While at Dentsu Creative, I was asked to develop film concepts for their Lifeblood series, showcasing the crews that make Peak’s John Force Racing happen.
The Lifeblood of John Force
Since Peak is a motor oil company, the concept of engine oil as the “lifeblood” of a vehicle is common in the automotive industry, emphasizing its role in engine longevity and performance and leading to a natural connection with the crews that maintain and support Peak’s John Force Racing, one of the most successful drag racing teams.
Once that connection was pitched and approved, we set out to build a robust set of films showing how every person and crew member works together to make these complex racing events happen.

Christian PaHud
After the Lifeblood success, Peak wanted a film team to capture its Stock Car Dreams competition, designed to showcase amateur drivers. The focus was to highlight Peak’s sponsored driver, Christian PaHud, so we produced a documentary around his background and his readiness to meet the challenge.
I traveled to California to direct, hired a small local crew to shoot, and with a producer by my side set out to capture the story as it unfolded. I then guided the project through post-production, shaping the footage into a film that was a hit with Peak and an excellent showcase of Christian’s NASCAR debut.
